After using several facial products, I have yet to find a good pre-made face mask. I remember my sister using this mask called the Mint Julep Masque and she said it was a good mask to use. So over the weekend I bought the Mint Julep Masque at my local Meijer store for ~$3.50 . It can also be purchased on Drugstore.Com
The masque claims to:
Help dry up acne pimples
Rinses away blackheads
Help shrink enlarged pores
I applied this mask generously over my face and waited for it to dry. It dries very quickly and you can feel your skin tighten as it dries. It also has a very minty smell to it so it is very refreshing. While it's drying, you can see little oil spots from your pores on the mask. I believe it is effectively drawing out the impurities in your skin. I only noticed those spots on parts where I know I have large pores and blackheads.
I rinsed it off after 15 minutes and saw a significant difference in my pores! The blackheads were gone and the pores seemed smaller. I am not sure if it's just temporary, but the next morning my pores are still cleaner and smaller than before I had used the mask. I wish I had taken pictures to show a before and after. I will the next time I use it though, so you guys can see the difference it makes.
I think this mask is great and would recommend it to anyone with pore problems. My skin feels smoother and softer and noticeably cleaner. I have dry, sensitive skin and so far I have no problems using it. But it's only been one day, so I will definitely update after more usage.
